A self-running demo of two A-10 attack aircraft engaged in destroying ground targets.

Author(s): MaK Technologies

Quick Start:

This self-running demo shows a DIS scenario in which two A-10 attack aircraft are attempting to destroy 7 ground targets near an airfield. The visual database is modeled from the Holister Airport in California. At the time of recording, the A-10s were being controlled by a man-the-loop simulator flown by Carl Suttle of MultiGen Inc., using a BG Systems FlyBox(TM). The target entities were being simulated on a separate machine by a simple Computer Generated Forces application, while the Logger ran on a third machine. All of these applications communicated over ethernet using MaK's VR-Link(TM) DIS Networking Toolkit. The demo is playing back the logger file and viewing it using Mak's Stealth product.
